Veiled Form is built around concealment, interiority and restraint. Wheel-thrown in Mediterranean terracotta and carefully altered by hand while the clay remains plastic, the sculpture folds inward to create a partially hidden lateral cavity—an interior space that is suggested rather than fully revealed.
The form appears to protect its own centre. Its curves gather around the void with a quiet sense of enclosure, creating a balance between openness and withdrawal. Rather than describing or representing, the sculpture relies on absence, shadow and the tension between what is visible and what remains concealed.
A custom glaze moving between violet and coral tones follows the contours of the piece like a continuous skin. Its subtle transitions respond to changing light, deepening the cavity and allowing the surface to shift gently with viewpoint and atmosphere.
The traces of wheel and hand remain embedded in the form. In Veiled Form, the material does not simply occupy space; it creates an intimate interior within it—a quiet sculptural presence shaped as much by what is withheld as by what is shown.
